It's been a busy month at OPIN, and we're excited to announce the launch of three client projects, including a new LMS and multisite:
Adding to the partnership with the CGC (Canada Games Council) and host societies, OPIN is happy to announce that the 2019 Canada Winter Games site for Red Deer Albert has gone live this month. OPIN is extremely proud of the partnership and 5-year national sponsorship with the CGC. The 2019 games a shaping up to be a memorable event with an approximate 13.2 million dollars allocated to facility enhancements budgeted by the city of Red Deer in preparation of the upcoming games.
Given the success of OPIN’s engagement with the CPC working to migrate all their digital content to a new Drupal platform, it's only fitting they used Drupal to build their recently launched Canadian Paralympic FUNdamentals Resource 2.0 as well. This was a revamp of their previous LMS (learning management system) geared toward coaches, teachers, and parents getting kids active in parasport. This new feature will be a part of Paralympic Schools Week 2017, April 24-28. For more information, go to http://paralympic.ca/schoolsweek.
Northern Health’s partnership with OPIN began last year as part of an innovative project implementing a Drupal multi-site for Northern Health and affiliated health systems, committees and subsidiaries. OPIN is happy to announce the deployment of Indigenous Health’s new Drupal 8 site as a result of this partnership. Working with their design team OPIN was able to implement all the design elements created into the Drupal 8 platform giving them a consistent look and feel to that of the rest of the Northern Health umbrella.
