As part of the Drupal community for years, we saw the need for a Canadian solution to hosting. OPIN Cloud is a Canada’s only platform-as-a-service that provides everything you need to create, maintain, and optimize high- quality Drupal websites. It’s architected for resiliency in continuous delivery environments and designed to accelerate site and services deployment.

Enterprise customers achieve high availability by leveraging our 5 Canadian-based data centers, which provide redundant physically isolated servers at each layer of the technology stack to ensure smooth failover without customer service interruptions. Customers can request additional compute and storage whenever required, in order to ramp up or scale down to meet predictable or unpredictable traffic spikes for any duration and return resources back to normal levels when traffic subsides. The OPIN Cloud has everything an enterprise needs to scale and secure its Drupal sites.

Case Study: Security Learning Commons

In April 2015, the Security Learning Commons, a knowledge portal created by the Privy Council of Canada was launched on the OPIN Cloud. The Security Learning Commons enables security and privacy officers within the Government of Canada to collaborate by sharing best practices, promoting upcoming events, and discovering new ways to improve security procedures. The Privy Council of Canada decided to host the Security Learning Commons on the OPIN Cloud, allowing for quick development and deployment. High-availability and performance were also important factors.
