OPIN Sponsors Pacific Northwest’s Largest Drupal Conference

Ottawa, Canada – January 11, 2017 - OPIN Software, a Canadian-based Drupal agency, is proud to announce its sponsorship and support of the upcoming Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit.

The 2-day conference will be hosted at Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre from February 25-26, 2017. The Summit will feature sessions covering a range of Drupal topics from site building, module and theme development, as well as digital business and project management.

"Every year, The Drupal Summit's goal is to provide Drupal professionals the most inexpensive and highest-calibre Drupal conference in the Pacific Northwest region. We couldn't do this without the help and support of companies like OPIN. We're very happy to have them onboard this year in Vancouver as one of our top-tier sponsors for the event," said Steve Krueger, Co-Founder of The Jibe and an organizer of the event.

The summit is organized by the Drupal Association and volunteers to bring together developers, designers and key members of the Drupal community. More than 200 Drupal professionals are expected to attend this year’s annual event.

The open source community is critical to the overall success of Drupal. OPIN strives to be an active member of the Drupal community in Canada, not only through developing sites and contributing to the software itself but sponsoring events like the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit.

“The success of open source projects, such as Drupal, is largely dependent on the community and the support that it receives,” said Chris Smith, CEO of OPIN Software. “Events, meet-ups, and conferences such as the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit allow us to establish stronger bonds between our community members.   We’re proud to be a top-tier sponsor of the upcoming Summit and look forward to our continued involvement and support in both the local and national Drupal community."
