The Canadian Museum of Human Rights (CMHR) had an existing Drupal web property that was functional. CMHR needed more than a basic website, with standard configuration. The museum's new accessibility mandate dictated a need for cutting-edge functionality, enabling an inclusive and immersive digital experience for CMHR's audience. OPIN was selected for our expertise in providing enterprise-level solutions for compliance and accessibility challenges.
Sport Manitoba's websites were using a proprietary Content Management System (CMS) that was no longer meeting their needs. They needed a responsive, social website that could manage various levels of seamless content sharing between the governing body and the partner programs. It also needed to have a unified “look and feel” between the sites while respecting each of their brand elements. OPIN was chosen to provide an enterprise-level solution.
NH was in search of a solution that met all of the needs and requirements of an innovative and leading healthcare website that leveraged the latest advancements in technology, without significant investment. Our work with Northern Health involved the rebuilding of their corporate website as well as 7 other digital properties. The multisite implementation involved the migration of 8 existing websites into a single, user-centric portal that allowed citizens to find information pertaining to health services.
The university museum’s primary goal was to enhance their digital brand with a newly redesigned website that is easy to maintain and would provide increased traffic, intuitive structure and navigation, clear cross-referencing, coherent logic, and improved search engine optimization. Their previous website, launched in 2010, was outdated, and the new site represents a stark improvement over its predecessor.
The criteria for the project centred around laying a foundation for a scalable solution on a single, stable platform that can be used for future years of development and expansion. The technology needed to transform and streamline the Government’s online business processes, integrate with external assets and software systems and make a splash while reaffirming the public’s faith in technology and how it can be used.
The new website was built to provide streamlined user experience, adapting seamlessly for devices and integrating legacy information. User profiling has provided more targeted information for students interested in the university’s programs, entrance requirements, and admissions procedures. The more than two-fold increase in student applications, attributed largely by the improvements to the website, has exceeded the university’s expectations. The increase has provided the university with higher calibre students, increased visibility and a better ability to promote research outcomes.
